Week 34 Wrap-Up

(Picture from Navy/Marine Corps birthday ball last week.)

How far along are you?
At the end of 34 weeks.

How big is baby?
Books/emails say about 4.75 pounds, and almost 18 inches long. "like your average cantaloupe"

Maternity clothes?
Yes, mostly. Or anything stretchy/baggy.

Best moment this week?
Seeing Zac's face when he actually saw my belly move for the first time. He had felt it before, but hadn't just seen it yet.

Food cravings?
I would say desserts again.

Aversions?
Sitting for long periods of time.

Sleep?
Still going ok.

Gender?
Girl.

Movement?
Yes! Lots.

Symptoms?
Feet/ankle swelling - always attractive. Tiredness. Achiness. Nothing out of the ordinary.

What do I miss?
I missed sushi this week, and having more energy.

What I'm looking forward to this week?
Dr. appt. on Monday.

Milestones?
Her fat layers are filling her out, skin is smooth and her lungs are continuing to mature.

Week 33 Wrap-Up

(I'm really starting to not enjoy seeing these pictures.)
How far along are you?
At the end of 33 weeks.

How big is baby?
Books/emails say a little over 4 pounds, and over 17 inches long. Hawaiian fruit comparison this week! YAY! She is about the "heft of a pineapple."

Maternity clothes?
Yes, mostly. Or anything stretchy/baggy.

Best moment this week?
Finding out that my second glucose test came back and everything is ok!

Food cravings?
Desserts.

Aversions?
Nothing really coming to mind this week.
I actually ate a larger piece of meat at the Navy/Marine Corps Birthday Ball this weekend!

Sleep?
Still going ok - wishing I wouldn't wake up in the night. I know that I am snoring a lot more. Strange!

Gender?
Girl.

Movement?
Yes! Lots.

Symptoms?
Swelling - always attractive. Tiredness. Achiness. Nothing out of the ordinary.

What do I miss?
Having more energy.

What I'm looking forward to this week?
Our first baby class tonight (breastfeeding) - and then "infant care" next Wed.

Milestones?
Skeleton is hardening (which I can feel sometimes) and she is losing the wrinkled look (aka fattening up).

Week 32 Wrap-Up

How far along are you?
At the end of 32 weeks.

How big is baby?
Books/emails say about 3.75lbs, and over 16.7 inches long. Back to a non-cute food size comparison this week - large jicama.

Maternity clothes?
Yes, mostly. Or anything stretchy/baggy.

Best moment this week?
The weekend with friends visiting and the CS baby shower! We are so extremely blessed to have such amazing friends.

Food cravings?
Nothing standing out this week.

Aversions?
Too many hours between meals/snacks.

Sleep?
Still going ok - wishing I wouldn't wake up in the night. Needing more of it, though!

Gender?
Girl.

Movement?
Yes! A lot of movement. She is usually very active, but still isn't waking me up at night.

Symptoms?
Crying more (so fun! just ask Zac), and apparently a higher than normal glucose level. :( Had to have another glucose test this week - a 3-hour one. Hopefully results will be back soon. That was not fun.

What do I miss?
Working out more.

What I'm looking forward to this week?
Getting the glucose test results back. Going to the International Quilt Festival tomorrow, and the Navy/Marine Corps ball this weekend.

Milestones?
She now has toenails, fingernails, and hair! Her skin is becoming soft and smooth.
