How far along are you?
At the end of 23 weeks.
How big is baby?
Books/emails say over 1 pound and more than 11 inches long. About the size of a large mango.
Maternity clothes?
Yes, more maternity items are being worked into the rotation.
Best moment this week?
Shopping for so much baby stuff with all of the grandparents in Dallas.
Food cravings?
Sweets - making brownies or cakes was a theme this week.
Aversions?
The meat thing...still.
Sleep?
Sleep is fine. I do need to make myself go to bed earlier most nights.
Gender?
Girl. We are still finalizing a name.
Movement?
Yes! Especially at night, and during her first Fightin' Texas Aggie Yell Practice last Thurs. night at Corps Air Out.
Symptoms?
Still sick about once a week or so, but that is bearable.
What do I miss?
Didn't really miss anything in particular this week.
What I'm looking forward to this week?
Finishing the registries and the first football game!
Milestones?
Her sense of movement is now well developed and she can feel me moving around/dancing. She can also hear better now, and loud noises are becoming familiar (i.e. Aidan and Kona barks - she loves that!).

Week 22 Wrap-Up
How far along are you?
At the end of 22 weeks.
How big is baby?
Books/emails say about 1 pound and 11 inches long. About the length of a spaghetti squash.
Maternity clothes?
Sometimes. I actually bought and wore my first pair of maternity work pants this week. I also got jeans, too!
Best moment this week?
Actually seeing my belly move - either a punch or a kick - for the first time.
Food cravings?
Water with lemon wedges in it, banana pudding (Donna Hamm's recipe!)
Aversions?
I don't do too well when I have several hours in which I don't eat. Snacking is again a must.
Sleep?
I still hate waking up in the middle of the night! But I am still sleeping ok. I have been really tired this week, but I think some of that is from the ridiculous Texas heat.
Gender?
Girl. We are still finalizing a name.
Movement?
Yep. Lots of movement this week.
Symptoms?
Growing belly.
What do I miss?
I will be happy when I can have sushi again. :)
What I'm looking forward to this week?
Baby stuff shopping/registering this weekend in Dallas!
Milestones?
Lips, eyelids and eyebrows are becoming more distinct, and she's even developing tiny tooth buds beneath her gums. Her eyes have formed, but the irises still lack pigment.
At the end of 22 weeks.

Week 21 Wrap-Up
(Sorry, not a great shirt to wear for the picture today, but I just wanted to get this posted!)
At the end of 21 weeks.
How big is baby?
Books/emails say about 3/4 of a pound and 10.5 inches long. About the length of a carrot.
Maternity clothes?
Sometimes. They are so much more comfortable than regular clothes at times. I have had to reorganize my closet into sections that still fit, and sections that won't fit me for a while. I need to bite the bullet and go find a pair of mat jeans sometime soon. Eek.
Best moment this week?
Hearing the heartbeat again (Wed.) at our appointment.
Food cravings?
Cinnamon cake and more iced tea.
Aversions?
Meat, still.
Sleep?
I hate waking up in the middle of the night! But I am still sleeping ok.
Gender?
Girl.
Movement?
Yep. Lots more movement this week. Little jabs, kicks and rolling over.
Symptoms?
Getting sick less and less. :) HOORAY!
What do I miss?
Nothing specific, really, this week. Sometimes wine, but I can live without it.
What I'm looking forward to this week?
Getting together a good list of things to register for.
Milestones?
More healthy growth!

Week 20 Wrap-Up
(Wearing my Junior League gear today!)
How far along are you?At the end of 20 weeks.
How big is baby?
Books/emails say about 10.5oz and 6.5 inches long. About the length of a banana.
Maternity clothes?
Haven't worn any maternity this week.
Best moment this week?
Let's see...nothing that exciting happened this week. So, I'm just going to say that the best moment was knowing that I am half way through the pregnancy and everything is going really well so far. Oh! AND, finally picking and having the crib ordered.
Food cravings?
Something sweet in the afternoons - whether that be a drink or a cookie or something.
Aversions?
Again, not feeling huge portions of meat. And still anything that touches my neck is still making me feel ill.
Sleep?
I woke up more at night this week. Can't tell if it was from a needy and squirmy puppy in my bed (thanks, Kona) or me.
Gender?
Girl.
Movement?
Yep. Still isn't as strong as I imagined it would be, but I'm sure that will come w/ time!
Symptoms?
Still sick sometimes - but it IS finally getting fewer and farther between.
What do I miss?
Having coffee more often and having enough energy in the evenings to work out AND do stuff at home.
What I'm looking forward to this week?
Going to Ruidoso one more time before summer is officially over.
Milestones?
She is swallowing more and producing meconium. Woo hoo! Haha.

Wore my first two maternity things this week. A dress (maroon, of course) and a top. Much more comfy.
Best moment this week?
Having Mom and Dad visit and then watching the sonogram dvd at the lake with some of the Elliott family.
Food cravings?
Nothing noticeable this week, really, except for I have been wanting more sweet tea.
Aversions?
Meals with large quantities of meat. (Stop trying to feed me steak, Zac!) :)
Sleep?
Can't ever get enough, but sleeping fine at night.

Milestones?
Arms and legs are all in the right proportions to each other and the rest of her body now.
