Week 18 Wrap-Up (and the gender reveal!)

How far along are you?
At the end of 18 weeks.

How big is baby?
About 7+ oz and 5.5 inches long. (Today the sonographer said the baby weighs about 11oz.)

Maternity clothes?
Almost there. Pants are tight, and I still only want to wear dresses.

Best moment this week?
Finding out the sex of Baby Elliott! And Mom and Dad being here to celebrate with us tonight.

Food cravings?
Anything frozen or fruity.

Aversions?
Just thinking about alcohol makes me want to puke.

Sleep?
Still tired - but not AS tired.

Gender?
IT'S A GIRL!!!

Movement?
Yes. When I saw the monitor and the baby moving, I knew that what I was feeling was movement.

Symptoms?
Still feeling sick - but not as much. Tiredness.

What do I miss?
I haven't really missed anything this week.

What I'm looking forward to this week?
Letting everyone know the sex!

Milestones?
Finding out that Baby Elliott is a girl.

Week 17 Wrap-Up

(Sorry for the after work-out picture.)
How far along are you?
At the end of 17 weeks.

How big is baby?
About 5 oz and 5 inches long.

Maternity clothes?
Still feel too small for most of the maternity stuff I have, but luckily I have several regular shirts and dresses I can still wear. Won't be much longer til I will need the real maternity clothes, though.

Best moment this week?
Holding my cousin's brand new baby, Jacob, which made me even MORE excited for the arrival of our little one!

Food cravings?
Still haven't had any real cravings. I'm beginning to wonder about all of this pickles and ice cream hype...

Aversions?
Zac's driving in traffic in Austin without having eaten an afternoon snack. NOT a good idea.

Sleep?
Still can't get enough sleep. But I haven't felt the need for the nap between work and dinner as often lately. I would say that is an improvement.

Gender?
1 week, exactly, til we find out!

Movement?
Still not positive that is really what I'm feeling...

Symptoms?
Still feeling sick - but not as much.

What do I miss?
I haven't really missed anything this week.

What I'm looking forward to this week?
Finding out the sex of Baby E, of course!!

Milestones?
Baby E's cartilage is changing to bone, AND he/she has a brand new cousin that will be the same age! Many fun times ahead for these little guys.

At the end of 16 weeks.

How big is baby?
About 3.5 oz and 4.5 inches long, size of an avacado.

Not yet, but I'm tempted. I just want to be in comfy and cool sundresses!

Best moment this week?
Having a little bit more energy on a couple of days this week.

Food cravings?
Still none that I can really tell.

Aversions?
Anything touching my neck - pillows, clothes, etc. Makes me feel kind of sick for some reason.

Sleep?
Pretty normal.

Gender?
2 weeks til we find out!

Movement?
Still not positive that is really what I'm feeling...
Symptoms?
Still sick and extremely tired most of the time. Blah.
What do I miss?
Coffee.

What I'm looking forward to this week?
The weekend? Always the weekend.

Milestones?
Just the simple, but important, developments that Baby E is making!

How big is baby?
About 2.5 oz, size of an apple.

Being able to take it easy for three whole days in a row. Happy birthday, America!

Bumpy car rides and drinks that aren't ICE cold.

Sleep?
Normal so far. Just can't get enough!

Gender?
