Week 26 Wrap-Up

How far along are you?
At the end of 26 weeks.

How big is baby?
Books/emails say about 1 2/3 lbx, and about 14 inches long.

Maternity clothes?
Yes, more maternity items are being worked into the rotation.

Best moment this week?
Hearing the heartbeat again at the last appointment on Fri. Baby E was moving around so it took a little while to find it!

Food cravings?
Perrier. Scotcharoos, a dessert made famous by Janie VanZandt. (I made them for a dessert party.)

Aversions?
Huge chunks of meat, still. Thank goodness for Double Dave's pizza rolls at the game this past weekend. Too many tailgating food items are meat!

Sleep?
Not good this week, thanks to a lingering cough.

Gender?
Girl.

Movement?
Yes, lots. I keep wondering which way she is positioned by the moves I feel.

Symptoms?
Just tiredness, I guess. Nothing too terrible at the moment.

What do I miss?
Being able to shop at normal clothing stores. :)

What I'm looking forward to this week?
Seeing everyone that is coming in for the OSU game! I know that isn't pregnancy related, but it's the next exciting thing.

Milestones?
Just 2 more weeks and I will be in the third trimester! Her hearing is improving, she is inhaling and exhaling small amounts of amniotic fluid to develop her lungs and practice for when she will be breathing air, AND she is continuing to put on baby fat.
